Services for the homeless with companion animals

MDEF would like to partner with local veterinarians who will allow our volunteers to transport the companion animals of the homeless to their offices for a variety of treatments ranging from wellness visits to emergency medical services.

If you are a veterinarian interested in serving your local community in any of the above capacities please email our Veterinary Coordinator, Emily Clement at or call our office at 502-694-2746.
